New Orchestral Percussion Instruments
July 4th in the United States means fireworks, and you could think of fireworks as a kind of special percussion instrument. This reminded our team that many of our users have been requesting an orchestral percussion set. So what better way to celebrate the 4th than with the release of 5 new orchestral instrument samples in Noteflight Crescendo? We now have Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Snare and Toms available in Crescendo; check out this sample score. (If you don’t hear the new instruments, you might need to clear your browser’s cache.)
All of these instruments presently make use of the bass clef. The timpani has an extended range, while the other instruments use the middle line (Bass Drum) or one or two lines above it (Cymbals, Snare, Toms).
Happy Independence Day!

Hi, guys, I was wondering whether you could make a one line drum staff for bongos? I have many compositions with bongos. Please put it in the basic library!

I REALLY like the orchestral percussion! I was wondering if you could add Marching percussion instruments, like a marching snare, multiple sized bass drums, and quads (or tris). I am big on marching and would really like those instruments to help me with composing marching songs and cadences.
