Happy 2011! There’s no sign of Noteflight slowing down - before the end of 2010, Noteflight reached over 150,000 active users. We couldn’t do it without our loyal community of Noteflight members. New Product Announcement: Noteflight Classroom for K-12. You spoke, and we listened! Since the launch of Noteflight Learning Edition, we’ve received tremendous feedback on Noteflight’s value as a teaching tool in the K-12 environment - including winning the “Best Tools for Schools” award from Symphony Band and Orchestra Magazine at NAMM 2010. But K-12 teachers asked us to make it easier to purchase, set up and get started immediately. We listened and in response launched Noteflight Classroom, allowing teachers to instantly create and administer their own private Noteflight websites. There is no need for student email addresses, and no required integration with any other software. Classroom users receive the same premium feature set available in Noteflight Crescendo. Noteflight Classroom gives teachers the ability to create and share materials, exercises and assignments with students, whether online or at home. Teachers can also take advantage of Noteflight’s learning resource library of ready-made, teacher-tested learning activities. Noteflight felt it was important to also serve the needs of private instructors with smaller class sizes - so we developed a product especially for the individual music instructor. Noteflight Studio provides instructors their own, private Noteflight community through which instructional materials, exercises and assignments can be shared with individuals, or groups of students.
